Wipping contacts in Ice Cream Sandwich is not the same as wipping contacts in Gingerbread. In People Apps, there is no menu for doing this. Here is the work arround.
In these capture and step by step. I am using an AOKP ROM (ICS Resurrection Remix). This step by step should be applicable for other type of ICS. And i am using Badass Battery Monitor 2.10 for loading historical for all apps that has been running. Note : stock app menu in ICS setting is not showing all running apps.

Step by step:
1. Install Badass Battery Monitor from Google Play Store.
2. Run Badass Battery Monitor
3. Select "App Usage"
4. Select "Android Core App"
5. Select "Manage"
6. Pilih "Clear Data"
Done, all contacts in our people apps have been fully removed.
